Verrucas - For Information Purposes Only
Verrucas develop on the soles of the feet. They are white, often with a black dot in the centre. They tend to be flat rather than raised. They can be painful if they're on a weight-bearing part of the foot.
A varruca is known as the human papilloma virus (HPV) which is the name for a group of viruses that affect skin and the moist membranes lining your body.
Treatments will need to be discussed during the appointment. There may be the need for weekly appointments until the verruca/s have cleared up. A usual time scale is 6 weeks.
